Slovenian heavy fuzz rockers Omega Sun started in 2013 as an instrumental duo and after few rehearsals morphed into a proper four piece band with vocals. As of then Omega Sun played numerous gigs, also sharing the stage with Dopethrone, Unida, Kylesa, Stoner Kebab, Yawning Man, Three Eyes Left etc.\n\nIn the time in between all of that the band released is an instrumental demo from late 2013 and soon after in 2014 their rst proper song as a four piece (with vocals) ?Early Morning?. After some turmoil in 2017 Omega Sun finally managed to record their debut full length ?Opium For The Masses?; now as a power trio consisting of Igor (vocals, bass), Seba (drums) and Aris (guitar). Omega Sun titled album Opium For The Masses. The genre of the album\n\nis moving between stoner rock and heavy doom through all six protracted songs. Lyrics deal with drugs, religion and human relations. The title of the album is a methaphor for everything that brainwashes modern society.\nThe band recorded the album in Ostudio 6 in Nova Gorica, with Cigo working as producer. They made great efforts to get the sound as close as possible to what they present us when playing live. Opium For The Masses is recommended to those who like Kyuss and Unida, because Omega Sun has one more specialty: their retro does not carry us in the seventies, but in the nineties.
