With the second album "human kind - animal mind" Robert Eberl aka Rob E. Soul pushes all the rock and synth music buttons, uses all the stereotypes of the genres and creates once again a typcial Soulimage sound. The music is hard and powerful and moves up a few gears compared to the debut album. Songs like "animal mind" or "soma" clearly show that the singer and songwriter is not afraid to incorporate elements from heavy metal as well. "human kind – animal mind" is straightforward, hard and purposeful. Guitarist Patty Juasz’ elementary play adds to the songs’ power and musicality. And exceptional artist Shir-Ran Yinon rounds off this second album with her violin and puts the songs expressively in the proper light. Rob E. Soul on the development and statement of the upcoming album "human kind - animal mind": "The world has changed. It is not going to go down, but it has changed dramatically. Most people are rather pessimistic about the future. What is hidden behind our emotions and fears? "human kind - animal mind" asks us this question and gives a partly raw and expressive answer. The human brain is a master in discovering lurking dangers. We look for possible threats in every corner. However, our ability to also perceive good news is no longer very much pronounced in us. Driven by world affairs and the associated growing insecurity, we walk blindly and narrow-mindedly through our lives and pay less and less attention to our fellow human beings and what humankind should actually be about – humanity. The world will change radically over the next few decades and we will enter a dimension of darkness or light. It is up to us to determine the direction in which we will drift. We have to relearn how to be happy and satisfied again because the best things in life are free. Good thoughts, forgiveness, compassion, love, respect and peace. We do not need much money, but a large heart. Not only the cover which shows me, blind with ambition, taken by the dark, feral power of fame, egocentric and bigotry, but especially the songs of the album portray this message. For example, "charity" is a self-explanatory track which shall bring you all together and underline the sentiment: "Be there for each other!" Songs like "break the silence" or "children of tomorrow" also support the statement of the album in a very special way."
