Founded in 2017, the German-Hungarian synthpop trio Analogue-X consisting of René Mußbach (vocals), Susan Mußbach (background vocals) and ALexis Voice (composer, synths) is going to release their second studio album “Imaginary” on March 27th via Echozone and in cooperation with RMP Records. The band’s obvious strength lies in skilfully combining ambient and emotionally charged electronic sounds with René Mußbach’s distinctive and melodic vocals. Composer ALexis Voice manages in a proverbially playful way to create sophisticated electronic arrangements, boil them down to the essence and enrich them by a multitude of small to big arcs of melody which he already demonstrated quite impressively on the trio’s debut album “Course Of Life”. After listening to the new album “Imaginary” only for a short time one already notices a high degree of rogression in almost all aspects of the production. The songwriting as well as René’s vocals appear to be more refined and on the spot. With the new album, Analogue-X have taken a considerable step closer to the goal to intensify the symbiosis of classic electro and romantic pop from the 80s and 90s in order to bring their own band sound to perfection. Something that the thirteen songs demonstrate clearly. The album features a mix of fast and slow tracks which can be found in listening intensely to songs like “Angel Of Light” or“Façade”. “Angel Of Light” will be released on May 10th as the first single release from the album featuring international remixesfollowed up by further single releases and video clips in the weeks and months to come.
