Sascha Giacomuzzi, entrepreneur in IT, at home in North of Italy (South Tyrol), already stopped his music career back in 2005 for work and family. A nearly deadly car accident in 2017 and the subsequent months in hospital made arise in him the wish to make music again: Beat Noir Deluxe was born. Beat Noir Deluxe is accountable to the genre Synthwave, Future Pop, Darkwave. Many years of live-experience (drums and synths) and the musical background of Sascha (from Metal and Alternative Rock to Britpop, from Trip-Hop to Dubstep) has contributed to give Beat Noir Deluxe a special, easily recognizable own style. Like on the first album the sound is enriched by collaboration with additional musicians (guitar, vocals). Werk2 is an honest and emotional work. The hard-hitting tracks come straight at you and lay bare the heart of a punk who, apart from anger, has experienced in life the whole range of human emotion without ever losing his punk soul. This mix of maturity, fragility and protest is clearly reflected in the lyrics. With its stripped-down song-writing and sound design, Werk2 feels like an electronic adaptation of the singer-songwriter tradition – unpretentious and authentic throughout.
