Alternative metal band Kubika are ready to unleash their debut album, Disorders, via Art Gates Records. This is what the band revealed about its meaning: "The album artwork features the image of a brain framed by overlapping squares. This visual concept reflects two key ideas behind the record: its focus on mental health disorders, and the belief that music holds complexity, depth and contrast beyond the surface. Rather than staying at face value, the band invites listeners to open their minds and explore these layers through the music. Additional imagery inside the booklet includes references to La Dama del Manzanares, a place of special significance to the band, symbolizing once again the idea of a mind that expands and breaks free." The band also shared what to expect musically from this new chapter: "With this first album, we wanted to clearly define our powerful sound: heavily distorted guitars and basses, low tunings, and crushing heaviness, without losing the band’s melodic side. It was also essential for us to have explosive, present drums and, of course, a lead vocal right at the front, carefully crafted and supported by layered backing vocals. Above all, what matters most to us is that the album sounds like the band, not the other way around."
