As always, every three years, now the fifth album of the dark wave band ANTIVOTE from Saxony / Germany will be released. With "Shine Bright Like A Demon," listeners are introduced to entirely new realms of dark music. The songs are varied in their lyrics and soundscapes, and the entire work remains captivating from beginning to end. Lyrically, the album primarily deals with mythical themes, but also addresses topics such as the potential effects and dangers posed by artificial intelligence. Musically, beautifully crafted beats and dark, epic soundscapes create an energetic effect. Both the music and lyrics are the work of Mirko Padubrin, whose voice is powerful and dynamic throughout the album, while also offering moments of quieter reflection.
